  • Equipment
    • Starting Magic items
      • One item max 11th level
      • One item max 10th level
      • One item max 9th level
    • Gold 4200gp to spend on other items
    • You may not trade up to better items
    • Taking a lower than allowed item does not give “change”
  • Bonus
    • Weapon/Implement Expertise feats are free
    • Paragon Defenses will be given free @ 15th level (you can take it before hand if you wish)
  • Allowed Sources
    • Player’s Handbook 1,2,3
    • All “Power” books
    • Adventurer’s Vault 1,2
  • Exceptions
    • NO hybrids
    • Transfer Enchantment ritual is not available
  • Background
    • The PCs will not know each other prior to the start of the campaign
    • Each PC is the sole survivor of a near-TPK. It is each person’s responsibility to figure out exactly what happened to them and be ready to share it. (It can be as much or as little as you want – “You should have seen that freaking giant! It killed Bob in one swing and I GTFO there! Dunno what happened to the rest of ‘em”)
  • Magic Item Notes
    • It will be easy to acquire base items (+X vanilla whatever)
    • Creating items
      • Base cost is 150% of normal for non vanilla items
      • Each item is associated with 3 components. Each one acquired saves you 15 or 20% of the cost (all 3 is 50%)
  • Not finalized
    • I’m mucking with magic item acquisition, so don’t create a build that depends on certain items
    • I’m hoping to reward taking a wider variety of skills than we have in the past. (No promises)
